The Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art and the stud farms of Purebred Spanish Horses Yeguada Torreluna – El Marengo, have reached agreement for the establishment of an educational project known as “Campus Real Escuela Torreluna”. This project, based on the notion of Extended Education, is available for 11 students with previous knowledge who wish to follow a horse riding course in the Torreluna facilities of Carmona (Seville). They will ride the horses of the stud farm learning with the experience and knowledge in teaching of the REAAE instructors.
In addition to the training of riders, some other objectives of this programme are the selection of foals and their specific training in the future after having considered their physical characteristics, how to prepare the horses for shows or performances, and the presentation of horses in competitions. The course has started on December 1st and will finish in July of next year, with an intention to continue the teaching internationalization of the Royal School with the collaboration of the El Marengo Stud Farm in Temécula (California) once the programmed has been completed.
